Vladimir Pereverzin

Vladimir Pereverzin, the former senior Yukos manager released from prison on February 15, 2012, has written a book regarding his experiences. In an interview with the Khodorkovsky Press Center in Russia, Pereverzin spoke about his written account of his ordeal, which included more than 7 years in prison.

He said: “I decided to write this book even before the trial. All these years I nurtured the idea, took notes, which I managed to save by hook or by crook. The notes were stolen, just disappeared or were confiscated. They’re most afraid of publicity and that those nasty things that they are doing will become public. During the year that I am free, I have realized this idea on paper. This book is my experience and partially is a therapy…

Pereverzin predicts that the book will be published this August. His first interview following his release, given to the Financial Times, can be read here.
