The Boris Nemtsov Forum
As a part of the Boris Nemtsov Forum platform, Open Russia is organising a people-to-people summit to take place at the European Parliament in Brussels on November 16-17.
The summit will open with a plenary session, for a debate on the future of Russian-European relations, involving leading voices from politics and civil society in Russia and Europe. This debate will set the agenda of the two-day event and provide inspiration for four working groups. These working groups, which will meet on Wednesday 16th in the afternoon and Thursday 17th in the morning, will explore in more detail key elements of the Russian-European dialogue: energy and economy; governance and politics; values and people; and Europe and Russia in the world. The working groups, co-chaired by Russian and European participants, will develop a series of recommendations for the evolution of the Russian-European relationship and present them at the second plenary session, which will conclude the summit.
